The Gunn IMS Members Site was created as a community hub for Gunn IMS practitioners. There are two levels of membership:
Cannon Level
IMS Level
Cannon Level
Cannon Level membership gives you access to the UBC Gunn IMS:
Practitioner Directory – a place for patients and referrers to find YOU. As a Cannon Level member, you will be listed in our Practitioner Directory on our public website - gunnims.com. ONLY practitioners trained through iSTOP or UBC are listed in this directory. You worked hard to achieve your Gunn IMS certification and patients and referrers want to know where you are. Listing on this website allows them to find you.
Newsfeed – as Gunn IMS-related events, research/literature items or educational pieces occur that we think will interest you, we will post them here. Previous news feed items include recordings of the annual UBC Chan Gunn Lecture or other lectures related to the IMS program, learning moments from our courses, and needle technique updates.
Ask-An-Instructor – receiving your certification in Gunn IMS is just the beginning of your practice journey using Gunn IMS. We want to support you as the art and science of your Gunn IMS practice evolves. You will always have more questions, and we want to be here to answer them for you. Your Cannon Level membership allows you to ask the UBC Gunn IMS team of instructors your questions. And you will be able to see the questions asked by other members and the answers we have provided to those questions.
Current Practice Forms – we are continuously updating our key practice forms. As a Cannon Level member, you will always have access to our current forms. As we create them, we will upload them here for you to download. These key forms include:
Gunn IMS Informed Consent documents for patients
Gunn IMS Contraindications and Precautions checklists
