A Community Hub for Gunn IMS Practitioners

The Gunn IMS Members Site was created as a community hub for Gunn IMS practitioners. There are two levels of membership:
  1. Gunn Level
  2. IMS Level

Gunn Level

Gunn Level membership gives you access to the UBC Gunn IMS:
  1. Practitioner Directory - helping patients and referrers to find YOU. As a Gunn Level member, you will be listed in our Practitioner Directory at gunnims.com - exclusively for practitioners trained through iSTOP or UBC. You worked hard to achieve your Gunn IMS certification; make it easy for patients and referrers to find you.
  2. Newsfeed - as Gunn IMS-related events occur that we think will interest you, we will post them here. Previous newsfeed items include notification of upcoming courses or lectures, e.g., the annual UBC Chan Gunn Lecture, and other Gunn IMS program news.
  3. Educational Content - research/literature items or educational pieces that we think will interest you will be posted here, such as recordings of the annual UBC Chan Gunn Lecture or other lectures related to the IMS program, learning moments from our courses, patient demonstrations and needle technique updates.
  4. Ask-An-Instructor - receiving your certification in Gunn IMS is just the beginning of your practice journey using Gunn IMS. We want to support you as the art and science of your Gunn IMS practice evolves. You will always have more questions and we want to be here to answer them for you. Your Gunn Level membership allows you to ask the UBC Gunn IMS team of instructors your questions. And you will be able to see the questions asked by other members and the answers we have provided to those questions.
  5. Current Nerve Supply Charts - we are continuously updating our nerve supply charts to include advancements in our knowledge of segmental nerve supply as informed by new research and to cater to the needs of our Gunn IMS community - as requested by you.
  6. Current Practice Forms - we are continuously updating our key practice forms. As a Gunn Level member, you will always have access to our current forms. As we create them, we will upload them here for you to download. These key forms include:
    • Gunn IMS Informed Consent documents for patients
    • Gunn IMS Contraindications and Precautions checklists
    • Gunn IMS Neuropathic Assessment forms
    • Gunn IMS Treatment Documentation forms
  7. You will also have access to our Members-Only Chat Room - created solely for the Gunn IMS community of practitioners using this unique dry needling approach. Connect in real time with fellow experts, exchange clinical insights, and get quick answers from a community that truly understands your work. It’s the perfect space for collaboration, discussion, and staying at the forefront of this specialised practice.
Annual Membership Fee: $250 CAD
